Dear Diary,
Sorry I haven’t been writing for a week, but I’ve been very busy with the intense training I have been taking from the following week. Master Yotomachi is our very strict teacher who teaches us how to find our way out of trouble by using the mind. It seemed very difficult, but Bibi, Kye and Myself had managed to find our way out of the dark maze our minds were in. But for the others, they ended up find another dead end or found themselves lost further in the maze. Since the 3 of us had completed the task, we were allowed to head straight for the next class, while the others had to continue finding their way without fail. Kye seemed to be very nice and friendly, he told me that he was sent here because he was a warrior of his home which was a small village that would be attacked by vicious monsters. When I told him that I had to protect my home from evil as well, he smiled and said we had something in common. So the next class we had was mind reading with Master Koichi. He seemed like a very quiet and gentle person. After explaining how to read some of people’s minds, we had to take a turn with each other by thinking of something and finding out what it is. It was a very tricky and hard thing to learn, but I eventually managed to find out what everyone was thinking. So did Kye, but Bibi hadn’t yet. So we had to go to the next class without her which made her feel sad. But before I left, I asked Master Koichi why we couldn’t complete our lessons together? He told me that it would only slow us down from becoming stronger and would instead hold us back. I just gave a little nod and walked out of the room with Kye. As we were both walking down the dark hallway tog tether, he told me that he didn’t like the idea of us being separated because of not completing something. I nodded and told him I agreed with him, but we couldn’t argue with him. Next lesson was aiming a firing with Madame Hutakii. Its sounds simple enough, but trust me, it wasn’t. We had to aim through all kinds of things without missing the target like hoops of fire, moving sharp objects and we had to avoide being hit by falling objects. I knew this wasn’t going to be easy. So as the training started, I was already having some trouble trying to aim and first while objects were moving in the way while objects were falling on me. No matter how hard I tried, I could get a good aim and even when I did, it would miss or hit one of the objects. Kye had managed to hit the aim with one of his arrows so he got to take a well deserved break. Me on the other hand, I kept on having problems trying to hit the arrow while I began to feel tired. But Madame Hutakii was determined to get me to hit the target, she just wouldn’t take no for an answer. But then I finally hit the target. Once the training session was over, my arms and hands felt very sore. But instead of being given an ice pack or cream, I was given this special herb that was to be mixed in boiling water and placed on all the sore parts. It did hurt since the water was hot, but the nurse kept telling me that it was good and that it will help. Later that evening, my arms and hands where all the sores were, were all covered in red patched from where the herb was placed on. I was worried that there was something wrong, but the nurse told me it was perfectly fine and that I need to ignore it. So I tried to. But once everyone else saw the red patches, they couldn’t stop worrying about me. Kye felt really bad for me and so he decided to try and help me learn how to aim more properly with the bow and arrow. I have to admit, I think I may have a slight crush on Kye. He just seems so nice and gentle. As the rest of the week went on, the trainings got more intense in the same classes and so did the pain from all of our hard efforts we had to make to impress our teachers. But the teachers never seemed to give a smile or any congratulation to us. Bibi has been a great friend as well, we often talk about our lives and our interests which we both seem to have a lot in common with. Rover seems to be friends with me as well. He’s always joking around and makes us laugh, he kind of reminds me of Otto. So that always seemed to cheer me up whenever I feel a little homesick. But Flame didn’t seem to act nice at all, he always teases everyone and he even teases my red patches on my arms, calling me a Dalmatian. But I ignored him. Tammy didn’t seem to want to get along either and was always trying to compete against everyone, especially me. She always seems to give me death looks whenever im in the same room with her. So I try to avoid her. Well, I better get some rest, and I hope Mew is back at Shugazoom, but I cant find out until another 3 weeks.
